The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge is positioned to provide services for a wider audience, including local residents, businesses, schools, and tourists. The 105 Santa Rosa Blvd. location in Ft. Walton Beach was donated by Okaloosa County as a an interim step until we can raise funds to build a new facility on the 4.1 acre lease on Okaloosa Island.Being located on Okaloosa Island positions the refuge to serve as a hub for wildlife rescues, volunteerisms, and education needs.
